Q- Is this authentic? “Three people will not be asked about the bounty of food and drink the fasting, the one who eats suhur, and the one who has guests.”നോമ്പുകാരനോട്, സുഹൂർ ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനോട്, അതിഥികളുള്ളവനോട് മൂന്ന് ആളുകളോട് ഭക്ഷണപാനീയങ്ങളുടെ ഹിസാബി ചോദിക്കില്ല?
This narration appears in Musnadul Firdaws. Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Three people will not be questioned [i.e. will not be accountable] regarding the bounty of food and drink; [The food eaten] when opening the fast, when partaking of suhur and the one who has guests.” (Musnadul Firdaws: 2501)
However, the Muhaddithun have declared this narration a fabrication as the chain consists of a fabricator. (Dhaylul La-Alil Masnu’ah, Hadith: 572, Tanzihush Shari’ah, vol. 2 pg. 166. Also see: Al Mughni ‘An Hamlil Asfar, Hadith: 1332).
The narration is therefore not suitable to quote.
