Have not come across mention of this in a Hadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). The following narration is recorded as the statement of Minhal ibn ‘Amr; a Tabi’i:

Minhal ibn ‘Amr (rahimahullah) reports: “I was informed that Ibrahim (‘alayhis salam) was cast into the fire for forty or fifty days. (Tafsir At Tabari, Tafsir Ibn Abi Hatim, Qurtubi, Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Ad Durrul Manthur, Surah: 21, verse: 69)
